Booking Terms & Conditions
BOOKING CONDITIONSPlease read these conditions before booking and sign the booking form to confirm your agreement. The person signing must be over the age of 18 and signs on behalf of all intended guests.
1. To pay for the holiday in full 10 weeks before the holiday commences
2. To arrive after 4pm on the day of arrival and depart before 10.00am on the morning of departure
3. To leave the property clean and tidy
4. To pay for any damages or breakages
5. Not to exceed the stated number of guests for the property
Any special requirements must be made known at the time of booking. Please note that your possessions are not covered under the owners insurance and so it is recommended that you purchase your own holiday insurance cover for the duration of your stay.
PAYMENTIf booking less than 10 weeks before your holiday start date, payment in full is required. If booking more than 10 weeks before your holiday start date a 50% deposit is required, with the balance due 10 weeks before the arrival date.
PAYMENT METHODOur preferred payment method is via Bank transfer or BACS. We also accept cheques. Please make cheques payable to Darcy Properties Ltd.
CANCELLATIONShould you have to cancel you holiday for any reason, we require all cancellations to be notified by telephone and confirmed in writing or by email. Please note that we do not offer cancellation insurance. If you have to cancel your booking we will endeavour to re-sell it and if successful will refund to you the rental we have obtained from the resale, up to the amount you have paid, minus £50 administration fee. If we are unable to resell no refund will be made; this applies whether a deposit or full payment has been paid.
If possible, we will accommodate a request for changes of date if made at least four weeks in advance, but we cannot guarantee this.
You must inform the owner as soon as possible if a problem arises and every effort will be made to rectify it as soon as possible so that you enjoy the rest of your holiday. In the event of breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing or wiring, the owners will not be required to pay any compensation of any kind.
HEATING AND HOT WATERAll heating and hot water are included in the price paid by the holiday maker.
NON-AVAILABILITY OF THE PROPERTYIf we have to cancel your booking for any reason, we will refund all payments we have received from you for the booking. The holidaymaker will have no further claim on the owner.
RIGHT OF ENTRYThe owners of Ffynnon Grog reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of emergency repairs should they become necessary. We will obviously respect your right to privacy and confidentiality and accommodate any reasonable request to timings or arrangement of this. The property must be securely locked when you and members of your party are out and care must be taken not to expose the property to any fire or flooding risk.
Up to two dogs are allowed per property on payment of £20 per dog for each week or part thereof, notification and payment to be made when filling out the booking form. Only dogs notified in this way are allowed into the property. We regret that no dogs are allowed in Ffynnon Grog Farmhouse and Bay Cottage. Dogs must be well controlled and must not be left alone in the cottage or allowed on furniture at any time. Lawns must be kept clean at all times. All blankets, feeding and watering equipment for the dog must be supplied by the holidaymaker and is not the responsibility of the owner of the cottages. No pets other than dogs to be brought to the cottages at any time. Please note that guide dogs or assistance dogs are always accepted without charge but must be declared on the booking form.
Farm animals are kept on Ffynnon Grog’s land. It is imperative that dogs are kept on a lead in any field with animals at all times.
Any harm or damage to or loss of any property or animal caused by the dogs is the responsibility of the dogs owners who must pay the full cost or reparations or replacement. The dogs’ owners agree to indemnify Darcy Properties Ltd or its employees, against any claim made in respect of any harm, damage or loss occasioned by any activities of the dogs.
